Women’s soccer and volleyball cap amazing seasons

Howard women's soccer team celebrating their championship

Bison women are the 2024 MEAC soccer champions who earned their spot in the NCAA tournament. Although losing 8–0 to top-seeded Duke University in the first round, our women played with the valor of champions.

Our women’s volleyball team clinched the 2024 MEAC regular season title undefeated in conference (14–0) but fell short 3–2 against Delaware State University in the tournament match. Despite the loss, our volleyball team secured many individual awards.

Women’s volleyball boasts Coach of the Year honors for Shaun Kupferberg, a third consecutive Player of the Year nod for junior Rya McKinnon and Setter of the Year recognition for junior Leah Reeves. MEAC All-First Team selections include Reeves, McKinnon and senior Cimone Woodard, and MEAC All-Second Team selections are senior Dami Awojobi and junior Claire Simpson.

Congratulations to both the women’s soccer and volleyball teams for amazing seasons.
