Howard’s WHUT-TV hosts the second annual FamFest on the Lower Quad (The Valley) for parents and children of all ages, Saturday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. The free community event includes myriad activities from games, arts and crafts to live performances. Registration is encouraged.
Howard University and Hampton University squared off for the 100th time in the Truth and Service Classic, continuing one of the longest-standing rivalries in HBCU football. Although Hampton’s 27-20 victory was its eighth in a row, the Bison fought hard, adding to the legacy of this historic competition.
