Dr. Vikki Walton, Howard University School of Business Class of 1990, brings more than 20 years of professional leadership experience and over 8 years of dedicated HUAA service to the role of Vice President of Administration. She currently serves as Region IV Chair, representing alumni clubs across the Midwest and Eastern Canada. During her tenure, she helped charter the HUAA of Eastern Canada, establishing the region’s first international club while reactivating inactive clubs and strengthening engagement.
Her leadership has focused on operational excellence and advancing HUAA’s pillars of Philanthropy, Service, and Engagement. Under her leadership, Region IV raised more than $50,000 in scholarships in 2025 while strengthening support for constituent unit presidents and local clubs through enhanced collaboration and programming. In recognition of her impact, she was named HUAA Region Chair of the Year in 2025.
Dr. Walton’s HUAA service includes two terms as Club President, service as a Region Representative, leadership on the HUAA Executive Committee, and her current role as Region IV Chair. This experience provides a strong understanding of governance, operations, and the needs of alumni leaders across the association.
Professionally, she is a senior leader at a global consulting firm, leading national initiatives across healthcare, strategy, and organizational performance, with a proven track record of driving results in complex environments.
On Day One, she will establish a Process Improvement Committee focused on assessing current systems, leveraging innovative technology, and strengthening operational efficiency across HUAA.
Dr. Walton holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MBA. Her commitment to service extends beyond HUAA, including leadership as Board Chair for the American Red Cross in Northwest Indiana and active involvement with the Urban League and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Her candidacy reflects a commitment to execution, accountability, and strengthening HUAA’s operational foundation in service to the global Bison community.
