Welcome to the Class of 1970 “virtual reunion”
As we approach our 50th Class Reunion, we remain excited about and committed to our beloved Howard University. The venue and circumstances have changed, but our hearts, love, and commitment to the Mecca remains strong and ever present.
Since its founding in 1867, Howard University has answered the call to prepare men and women to be national and global leaders, and the Class of 1970 is no exception. This strong Howard University foundation has given us the fortitude and agility to face challenges, including the current COVID-19 crisis, with solid thinking, a servant‛s heart, and an unshakeable Howard spirit. Our class adopted the Homecoming theme “Dawning of a New Age.” Now, some 50 years later, we are facing a “New Normal” with resilience, grace, and strength born of our Howard experience.
While we await the opportunity to greet each other in person, we want to keep the enthusiasm and excitement going via multiple virtual platforms -- our Facebook page, videos, website posting and other social media outlets, and our new alumni engagement website, Bison Together. The story of our Howard life will be shared virtually, making our future in-person reunion all the more joyous.
In 2021, we will meet to share the grand memories of time spent on the HU campus and to reflect on our journey over the past 50 years.
Our highly-anticipated class reunion will be phenomenal. Stay tuned for updates, fun facts, and plans for an exciting and unforgettable weekend. Until we meet in person, please continue to serve and be uplifted by the tremendous Bison Spirit as we remain forever Howard Strong!
