For all admitted students to Howard, Accepted Student Day was April 19. A day packed with excitement and invaluable insight, this comprehensive event welcomed incoming students into the life and culture of Howard.

Accepted Student Day is designed to provide incoming students with a comprehensive overview of all that Howard has to offer. From presentations delivered by our renowned schools and colleges to engaging campus tours led by our enthusiastic student ambassadors, attendees can experience our vibrant community.

One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly the chance to enjoy a delicious food truck lunch while mingling with current HU students, staff, and faculty. It provided admitted students with a unique opportunity to connect with their future peers and learn more about the HU experience firsthand.

Scheduled conveniently on a Friday, Accepted Student Day not only offers a glimpse into academic life but also allowed families to enjoy a weekend here in the heart of Washington, D.C., on “the Hill.” With its rich history, cultural attractions and vibrant atmosphere, Washington provides the perfect backdrop for prospective students and their families to explore and unwind.

Whether you’re eager to explore our academic offerings, connect with current members of the HU community, or simply soak in the energy of our campus, Accepted Student Day is an event not to be missed.
