Alumni Alternative Spring Break
Howard’s global engagement doesn’t stop at graduation. This March, alumni will travel to Colombia to learn from Afro-Colombian communities, as part of a lifelong relationship with the university.
Alumni as Global Learners
The inaugural Alumni Alternative Spring Break will (hopefully) grow into a signature Howard tradition. From March 7–14, 2027, alumni will travel together and learn alongside one another.
Space is limited to 16 travelers, and applications are due Nov 2. Asst. Provost for International Programs, Dr. Tonija Hope, who will lead the trip, will host an online info session on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 6-7pm for those seeking more information.
A portion of each traveler’s payment supports the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center and its student programs.
