Dionne Roberts

photo of dionne roberts

My name is Dionne Roberts, and I graduated from Howard University’s School of Business in May of 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Even though, since that time, I’ve also earned an MBA from Georgia Southern University and a doctorate in business from Georgia State University, it is my time as a student on campus at the Mecca of higher learning that is Howard University that has had the most profound effect on the trajectory of my professional career thus far.

I’ve spent the past two decades working in corporate finance in roles with increasing levels of responsibility at industry-leading global firms such as Accenture, Delta Airlines, Aramark, and XPO Logistics; and for the past 7 years, I have worked for The Coca-Cola Company, currently serving in the role of Finance Director over North America Operating Expenses, managing a team of 20 associates and a budget upwards of +$1.5B annually.

I’ve lived in the region continuously for the past twenty years and have made this area my home. My husband and I live in the South Fulton area of metro-Atlanta with our two youngest daughters: a middle school cheerleader and a very energetic toddler along with our new chihuahua/pomeranian puppy Simba.

As a proud member of the Howard University Alumni Club of Atlanta, I would be honored to serve as region chair for the upcoming term, and I humbly ask for your vote.

Thanks for your consideration. https://www.linkedin.com/in/dionnerobertsphd/
