No matter what phase of life you’re in – recent-graduate, mid-career, or newly retired – we are committed to providing you with tools to help you succeed.
Howard’s Micro-Internship Program: Connecting Students and Alumni
We have exciting news! We’re launching a Howard Micro-Internship Program to enable Bison alumni to connect with current HU students and recent grads through paid, professional micro-intern projects. These projects give our students the opportunity to gain experience, and many can be completed remotely. Micro-internships generally range from 5-40 hours of work and can focus on anything from website development and book editing to mystery shopping and market research.
It’s easy to post your project and recruit a micro-intern. Plus, since students are independent contractors of our partner Parker Dewey, the pioneer in Micro-Internships, there are no administrative burdens or HR requirements. It’s an easy way to give back to your alma mater, help today’s students and move your projects along. If you are interested in posting a Micro-Internships, visit info.parkerdewey.com/howard or contact Nicole Johnson, Howard’s Experiential Learning Coordinator at nichole.johnson1@howard.edu.
