Due to bandwidth, we are currently only accepting submissions from the following categories: awards, recognition from Howard University, promotions, publishing, and public appearances. Although we are not accepting submissions outside of these categories, we appreciate the work done by alumni outside of our set parameters.

Recognition from Howard University – noting if someone does something of service like joining an advisory group, becoming a trustee, being a master or mistress of ceremonies for a major event, etc.
- What counts: Receiving some kind of recognition or award from Howard itself for service to the University or making a donation that falls below the threshold of being a major donor
- What also counts: Receiving some kind of recognition or award from Howard University Alumni Association, or any of Howard fraternities or sororities for service to the University or making a donation that falls below the threshold of being a major donor
