Donations to the Impact Howard and GivingTuesday campaigns prepare our students for success.  A generous supporter pledges to match gifts to the Impact Year-End Challenge dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000, toward the $1 million goal.
 

Early bird ticket registration is now open for Charter Day Dinner 2026, Saturday, March 7, 6 p.m., at the Marriott Marquis Washington DC. Plan now to attend Howard University’s largest in-person fundraiser, which raises more than $1 million annually. Get tickets to the gala for $500 through January 2, 2026, when regular price is $750 per person.

The art Jordan Toombs creates reflects the beauty and perils that coexist in his life and in the lives of those around him. His career speaks to his brilliance as an artist and his resilience as a person.

The Baltimore commissioner of health, who majored in health sciences at Howard, is called one of the city’s “most intriguing movers and shakers of 2025,” by the Baltimore Sun newspaper.

“Genius Unbroken: The Life and Legacy of Dr. Charles R. Drew” is a thorough biography of the pioneering Howard medical researcher whose focus on blood transfusions led to the development of blood banks. Co-author Craig A. Miller, M.D., collaborates with Drew’s daughter Charlene Drew Jarvis (’64, M.S.), PhD.

During their first home meet of the season, our swimming and diving teams performed admirably during the annual Battle at the Burr hosting Georgetown University. The Bison won multiple podium finishes and two wins but fell to the Hoyas, 139-78.

Get ready for the excitement Saturday, November 22, 3:30 p.m., when the Norfolk State Spartans take on the Howard Bison in Washington, D.C., at Audi Field! Howard’s players are looking to top their last matchup, with the fans in the stands sporting Bison Blue!
