Professional Achievements & Service

Rhonda Nolen is a strategic leader, executive producer, and community advocate with more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and brand development.

She currently serves as Region VI Chair of the Howard University Alumni Association (HUAA), where she provides regional leadership, advances alumni engagement initiatives, and supports scholarship and development efforts that strengthen Howard’s national alumni network. Ms. Nolen previously served as HUAA Region VI Representative and as President and Founder of the Howard University Alumni Association Club of Las Vegas, expanding alumni programming and engagement in emerging markets.

Professionally, Ms. Nolen serves as Executive Director of the Uplift Foundation of Nevada, leading initiatives focused on education access, economic empowerment, and community wellness. She also serves as President & CEO of Smart Tyme Consultants LLC, where she advises corporations, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations on brand strategy, stakeholder engagement, and experiential marketing.

A results-driven strategist, Ms. Nolen is recognized for securing corporate sponsorships, grants, and strategic partnerships that generate measurable community impact. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Howard University and a Master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.

She remains actively engaged in service through the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., supporting initiatives that uplift and empower underserved communities.
