Embrace your Wildest Dreams at Homecoming

Homecoming 2026 is just one month away, and this year’s theme is “Wildest Dreams.” Designed to celebrate how our legacies surpass our ancestors’ wildest dreams, Homecoming takes place October 11–18. This year’s events will bring together students and alumni, including the highly anticipated Homecoming game against Morehouse College. Plan your Homecoming itinerary with our full list of events below! 

• Saturday, Oct. 10: Community Day of Service
• Sunday, Oct. 11: A Call to Chapel featuring Rev. Dr. Joshua Mitchell, and the Royal Court Coronation 
• Tuesday, Oct. 13: Bison Madness, a spirit event celebrating the start of the 2026–2027 men’s and women’s basketball seasons 
• Wednesday, Oct. 14: Lavender Reception celebrating Howard’s LGBTQIA+ community 
• Thursday, Oct. 15: Annual Student Fashion Show, and Red, White and Bison Gala to support military members of the Howard family 
• Friday, Oct. 16: Yardfest Day 1, Reunion Welcome Reception, Greek Step Show, Divine Nine Fundraising Brunch 
• Saturday, Oct. 17: Morehouse College Maroon Tigers vs. Howard University Bison, International Yardfest Day 2, WHUT FamFest, Alumni VIP Day Party, Homecoming Gospel Concert, Alumni “Wine” Down
• Sunday, Oct. 18: A Call to Chapel featuring Rev. Dr. Joshua L. Mitchell, and Young Alumni Brunch
