As Howard University prepares to welcome alumni home for Homecoming 2026, excitement is building for the milestone reunion celebrations honoring the non-Golden Classes — 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021.
Reunion committees are hard at work planning opportunities for classmates to reconnect, celebrate shared memories, and support the University’s mission through their collective giving and engagement.
Plans include a class reunion fundraising challenge. Which class will earn the bragging right? The classes of 2001 and 2006 have already lined up for the competition.
The Class of 2001 is proud to launch a scholarship in honor of Ms. Roberta McCleod Reeves, whose guidance, dedication and unwavering support left a lasting imprint on their class. Its giving campaign is a heartfelt tribute to legacy, leadership, and lasting impact.
Above its monetary goal, the Class of 2006 aims to increase alumni annual giving by 40%. Proceeds will support the University endowment and a potential campus gift that honors our legacy. Every contribution counts.
