The Howard Bison concluded its regular football season with a convincing 44–15 win against the Norfolk State University Spartans on November 22.

Sponsored by AT&T, the game was carried live on ESPN+ and ESPNU.

The matchup was so anticipated by fans of both teams that it was relocated from Greene Stadium on Howard’s campus to Audi Field in Washington, D.C. This was Howard’s second game this season at the 20,000-seat venue, after the Truth and Service Classic on September 20. The Bison defeated the Hampton University Pirates 34–7.

This game counts in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standings, with Howard having two wins and three losses in the conference, landing in fourth place. The win means Howard finishes its regular season with five wins and seven losses.

First-year head coach Michael Vick, a four-time NFL Pro Bowler, leads the Spartans, while Bison Coach Larry Scott is in his sixth season.

Howard football has three MEAC titles, including an undefeated season in 1993 and winning seasons in 2022 and 2023. It also has two titles with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and two Black College National Championships.
